Buying directly in the Discord app, each boost is $4.99/month. Boosts are personal subscriptions: they renew monthly on your payment method, and if you stop paying, your server's level drops with them. What that means at each level:

• Level 2 — 7 boosts ≈ $34.93/month
• Level 3 — 14 boosts ≈ $69.86/month

The Nitro discount, honestly calculated

Nitro ($9.99/month) includes 2 free boosts and a 30% discount on additional ones, bringing extras to roughly $3.49 each. For a Level 3 server that is 2 included + 12 discounted ≈ $41.88, plus the Nitro fee itself: about $51.87/month all-in. Cheaper than pure retail, still a meaningful monthly bill — and it depends on one person carrying the whole subscription.

What pooled boost services charge

Pooled services buy boost capacity at scale and resell it per-server. Why the price varies so much between providers

Search for cheap Discord boosts and you will see 14-boost packages anywhere from a few dollars to twenty. The spread is not random. Three things move the price:

• Term. A one-month package is the most expensive per boost because the provider pays setup cost for thirty days of use. Three-month packages are cheaper per month everywhere; ours is $19.99 for 14 boosts, about $0.48 per boost per month.
• Coverage. A provider that replaces dropped boosts for the whole term has to keep spare capacity. One that offers a 24-hour window or nothing at all can price lower and let the level fall a week later. Compare the coverage length, not just the sticker.
